Far be it from me to argue with the marketing gurus of Pizza Hut Australia, but the last thing I want to think about when buying fast food is small rodents.

With global sales of fast food rapidly declining, companies are apparently pulling out all the stops to attract customers.

Needless to say, fans of Pizza Hut Australia on social media have let their discomfort with the new offer be known. Here are a few tweets referencing discontent with the Glen Waverly promotion:

Fortunately, the result of all of this was an apology by Pizza Hut Australia and their claim that the promotion was unauthorized. 

Who knows whether or not the promotion was known about, but at least the people have been granted their wish and the signs have been taken down.
